Accessibility for Patrons with Disabilities
Individuals with disabilities may make requests for accommodation from the Oregon Public Library.
Upon receipt of an Accommodation Request, the Oregon Library will identify the precise limitations resulting
from the disability and explore the potential accommodations that the Oregon Public Library
might make to help overcome those limitations. The library requires a seven (7) business day
notification to relocate any program to an accessible location. Requests may be made by telephone or in writing to the
library. Various factors will be considered, including, but not limited to the nature and costs of the
accommodation, the overall financial resources of the Oregon Public Library, and the accommodation's
impact on the operation of the Oregon Public Library, including its impact on the ability of other patrons to utilize the Oregon
Public Library and Oregon Public Library's ability to conduct business.
