are for 3-6 year olds and take place weekly. These programs include stories, songs, fingerplays, and a short craft.

PROGRAMS FOR SCHOOL-AGED CHILDREN
Throughout the school year, the library offers special activities or programs for school-aged children. These events are highlighted in the newspaper, flyers, and on our Facebook page.
The big event of the year is the Summer Reading Program. This themed program
encourages reading all summer with weekly activities, programs, games, crafts, incentive prizes and special guests. Youth ages 3-17 are welcome to participate during
June and July.
PROGRAMS FOR ADULTS
Throughout the year, the library schedules special programs for adults. Some programs are brought to you with the generous support of the Friends of Oregon Public Library

Adult Book Clubs meet year around and all are welcome to join. Usually, the books are ordered from other libraries and there is no charge to readers. Ocassionally, the club will agree to purchase new or unavailable books so that all members can read them. Whether you want to gather in the afternoon or evening, there is a book club for you! Adult Book Clubs are popular activities. Please sign up to make sure you get a copy of the book for the current month.

SPECIAL INTERESTS PROGRAMS
The Oregon Public Library Knit and Crochet Club meets every Monday from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Beginner to advanced knitters and crocheters are welcome. There are volunteers who will get you started in either craft with patient instruction. New sweater, anyone?
